Wow! Where did the time go? It seems like yesterday we were working out the kinks and prepping for Parent Preview. But here we are gearing up for our last performance of “Disney’s Newsies.” We’re so grateful to our community, volunteers, parents, family and friends for supporting us and making this such a great experience.
We had a blast last night reuniting with so many wonderful alums from past MHS productions. It always seems like the energy of the room is higher than ever when our old friends show up (home from college) to support us. Lots of laughs and hugs to go around. You know it will be more of the same today, with a few tears added in as well as we end our time with Newsies and say goodbye to the fantastic seniors from the Class of ’19. (Let’s hope they become the alums that come back to support our show next year!)
A final thanks to The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead for sponsoring tonight’s performance.
We had so much fun visiting The Forum on Halloween, dressed in our costumes and posing in front of the company’s newsboy statue.
The Forum also donated our prop newspapers seen here during Tea Lights.
One final note: If you’re interested in seeing the show tonight our advice is to come to the school before 7:00 p.m. Seats are sold out, but typically a few seats are turned in prior to the performance. Thanks again for being so supportive of “Newsies.” We’ll carry the banner for you anytime!
