Don’t you love our community? To put it simply, we could not put on this show with the incredible support of our Fargo-Moorhead Community. It’s been a crazy few weeks of rehearsal and parent preview was great (yes, yes, parents might not be the most objective audience, but even some nonparents in the crowd were impressed with the energy and musical chops of the cast and pit orchestra and the great look and feel of the set and production from our tech crew).
Tonight is opening night and we’re both nervous and excited.
Thanks to BlackRidge Bank for being our opening night sponsor. Your support means the world to us and we’ll gladly carry the banner for you!
Speaking of support thanks to our local media for inviting us to appear on the air to promote the show.
Our day started on KVRR Morning News with Emily Welker and Adam Ladwig. Anna Larson as Medda Larkin performed with Bowery Beauties, Josie Cass and Thalia Christenson.
Then we had a nice time visiting with Lisa Budeau and Chris Berg on North Dakota Today. Kaden Moszer (Jack) and Sophia Klindt (Katherine) joined Medda and the beauties.
And we ended our media blitz by visiting with Jim Shaw who was filling in for Mike on The Mike McFeely Show on 970WDAY. Not only is Jim a great radio host, he’s a musical theatre dad himself so he knows the ins and outs of putting a production like this together.
Thanks to everyone for your support and helping us get the word out! If you don’t have your tickets yet, go online at moorheadschools.org/tix. They’re going fast! See you tonight!
