Opening night is always a little nerve-wracking, but we had a great time kicking off our latest musical production. “Matilda – The Musical.”
We had a great crowd who cheered us on the entire way. And we had a nice review from Broadway World.
After the show, we held an ice cream social to help raise money to buy books for children at local elementary schools, homeless shelters, and the children’s wings at both Sanford and Essentia.
We’re back again tonight with a show at 7pm (Get your tickets now as we are close to a sell-out). If you can’t make it tonight join us Sunday at 2pm for our first matinee. The ice cream social will also be held after tonight’s and tomorrow’s performances. After each of these performances we’d like to encourage you to come right out to the New Commons to greet your favorite cast members and buy an ice cream treat. We will have tables set up for with the novelty ice cream treats available for a free will donation (suggested $5). We have lots of ice cream in hopes of raising lots of money to buy lots of books!!
